I decided to pop in here, since I've neglected this site for... Well, since October 25th, 2010, according to my oldest updates. Wanted to let anyone who might still watch me and care that I'm alive and kickin'! I haven't made so much visual art in the past couple of years. Most of what I do remains as unfinished sketches, due to my own pickiness. I'll turn that around though. So where have I been? Well, I enlisted in the military, fought floods, beat boot camp, and got promoted. That's the most notable thing. I travelled to the US a few times as well. Y'know what I love? Good typography. I drool over stylishly-executed type in design. For the benefit of anyone who's interested, I've gathered most of the typographic protips I can remember and listed them here. Follow these in your art and writing to really make your typography excel. 01. In comics, don't use transparent word bubbles; they're harder to read. 02. In comics, don't let your word bubbles go off the page; it looks noobish. 03. In comics, make sure your word bubbles, as well as comic panels, are placed in the left-to-right, top-to-bottom order to be read properly. 04. Try to stick to a maximum of two typefaces in your designs;
